Glenrothes Singly Malt Schotch Whisky, Designed by Blackburn's Brand Design:

"Overcoming negative trade reaction and dramatic decline in sales due to poor packaging, plus many unsuccessful cosmetic changes (devaluing by breaking up name in pursuit of size, different distillery illustrations, gold embellishments etc), one last throw of the dice was called for. Visiting the distillery, Blackburn’s took inspiration from the Sampling Room, thus creating a totally unique way of presenting whisky. The 'hand signed' sample label added a personal touch (now much copied) implying exclusivity. Vintage date (much copied) as opposed to a 12 year old statement gave the brand an extra specialness justifying its premium price." Via Thedieline
