Sunbeam Tiger Concept inspired by the 1920s Sunbeam Tiger LSR Car By Ben on Thu Apr 16 2009 Sunbeam Tiger Concept Sunbeam Tiger Concept Car

In 1925, Sunbeam 1000hp Mystery became the first car to go past the 200 kmph barrier (and later even the 200mph mark), the Sunbeam Tiger concept from Ryan Skelley is a future model to celebrate the centenary of the original Sunbeam (1925-2025).

The Tiger Concept is an environment friendly car using materials like recycled aluminum tubular chassis, soy foam seats with Biofabric, vegetable oil resin body panels and the like. Environment friendly materials touch nearly every aspect of the car. Its electric batteries charge in four hours, zero to sixty comes in 2.3 seconds, and it can go all the way to a top speed of 160 mph. A single charge is good for 800 miles. All that sounds good, but we can’t help hoping that the car be able to reach higher speeds… well, it’s only a concept. Via Automotto
